THE THREE CHIMNEYS PROJECT / NORTHERN BARCELONA, SPAIN
GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION:
The thermal power plant of San Adria de Besos and Badalona perfectly reflects the idea, when built, of the industrial revolution.
The power plant has a surface of 12 hectares and is situated 2 Km north of Barcelona, facing the sea.
THE PROJECT:
The creation of a city of Art.
The repurposing of this old power plant will become a new symbol, with its three wind turbines placed on the top of the three chimneys, a symbol of our time, a time when we care for the environment reducing all different types of pollution, which must be one of our main objectives for this new millennium.
Project encompassing roughly 250,000 m2.
